JAMMU MAY 12: The district administration in Doda on Thursday ordered detention of a habitual bovine smuggler under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
Yasir Hussain of village Behani Sherki at present Runta Tehsil Bhaderwah was booked under the PSA after the District Magistrate Doda, Vishesh Mahajan issued an order (No. 23/DM/DODA/PSA/2023) in this regard
Hussain, according to an official spokesperson, has been found involved in five bovine smuggling cases.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Doda has produced material record in the form of dossier and other connected documents like copy of FIRs and daily diary reports in respect of Hussain.
“The DM has warned persons involved in Bovine Smuggling, drug trafficking to shun unlawful activities or face the toughest action warranted under law,” the spokesperson added.
