JAMMU: As per complaints of people residing in sector 7 Trikuta nagar this is the 3rd time that suspicious movement of some ladies were noticed pointing out cameras installed in the area, visiting houses for enquiring about rooms for rent for sake of gathering information of people inside the house and invading privacy of the people residing in sector 7 & 5 Trikuta nagar.
After following them residents confirmed that these ladies are outsiders, especially from Afghan mohalla where Rohingya’s and other outside people are residing and pointed out that Afghan mohalla near railway station is hub of all the unlawful activities like drugs, thefts, illegal kerosene storage, human trafficking etc.
Citizen’s up lauded that afghan mohalla is becoming a big threat to the peace of residents of Trikuta nagar, when suspicious movements were found in the area prominent citizens called higher ups in police department and Deepak Pathania SHO Trikuta nagar visited the area and interacted with the Citizen’s of Trikuta Nagar.
Pathania had one hour long discussions with citizens , noted down all the problems and assured full support and corrective actions asap . also assured regular patrolling in the area.
Prominent Citizen’s Present in the meeting were Rahul Sahai, Rattan Lal Gupta ex MLC, Summit Gandotra, Sanjay Gupta, RK Kokroo, Dr Rakesh Kakkar, Vishal Gupta, Vaibhav Gupta, Krishan Lal Advocate, Krishan Gupta.
