JAMMU: Keeping in view the sentiments of masses, Former President BJP J&K Sat Sharma (CA) has asked all the concerned departments to execute developmental works quickly across Union Territory.
He stated this while starting construction works of a community hall at Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Kabir Colony, Ward 40. He was also accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, BJP Publicity Secretary Ayodhya Gupta, Corporators Jeet Angral, Neelam Nargotra and Sanjay Baru, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, General Secretary Rajesh Gupta, Media Secretary Dr Pardeep Mahotra local residents and political activists of the area.
The funds for the works have been allotted from the MPLADS fund of Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and an amount of Rupees 19.76 lakhs was sanctioned for the same for which locals have expressed their gratitude for taking up a long pending work.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma appreciated the contribution of MP for taking up a long pending work and sanctioning funds for a place which holds a very significant position in our society.
He said that with the assistance of Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi many projects in J&K are also being taken up and he asked the officials of all concerned departments to execute these works as soon as possible and stated that he has met numerous deputations from various parts of J&K who have demanded for taking up the developmental works in their areas.
Munish and Ayodhya stated that Former MLA has been on ground even after two years of the dissolution of Assembly and he reaches out to masses in every ward and solves grievances from time to time.
Neelam and Jeet stated that pending works in the wards will be taken up in coming times and where ever required help of Former MLA will also be taken to solve remaining problems in the wards.
Sanjay and Keshav highlighted the development done by Former MLA during his tenure.
