JAMMU: Peer Mitha Police arrested a drug peddler along with 10 grams of heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Peer Mitha headed by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali laid a naka near Gujjar Nagar and intercepted one Alto car bearing registration number JK02CM-2895.
During checking, police team recovered 10 grams heroin from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Sanjeev Kumar, son of Gulzari Lal, a resident of Bunsultan Miran Sahib District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 58/2020 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Peer Mitha and investigation started.
