National Council of Development paid tribute to Hemu Kalani ji on his 79th Martyrdom Day

Today, on 21 January 2022, martyrdom day was organized in the conference room of the Council. On this occasion, Sindhi experts/speakers Mr. Hero Thakur ji, Mrs. Neetu Matai and Mr. Mahesh Chhabria ji were invited as guests by the council.On this occasion, the Director of the Council, Prof. Aqeel Ahmed ji, while paying tribute on the occasion of martyrdom day of Hemu Kalani ji, a revolutionary and freedom fighter of India, while presenting a brief lecture about freedom struggle fighter Hemu Kalani ji, said that in the freedom struggle, there were countless sacrifices of Mother India. Sons sacrificed their lives and liberated Mother India from the chains of slavery.

All the states in India contributed in the fight for freedom. Youngest child revolutionary among the venerable heroes who liberated the country by driving the British out of India.

India will never forget Amar Shaheed Hemu Kalani. Freedom fighter Hemu Kalani ji along with his friends boycotted foreign goods and urged people to use indigenous goods. Tributes were paid to the son of Sindh, Amar Shaheed Hemu Kalani, on his 79th Martyrdom Day. While giving this message that if India is to be seen as a world guru, then we all should know that just as God is adorable, in the same way mother, motherland and mother tongue are also adorable. 

This message was given by Sindhi speakers that in 1942, a 19-year-old teenage revolutionary had created panic in Sindh Pradesh with his team with the slogan “Quit English India” and seeing his enthusiasm, every Sindhwasi also got excited.

Hemu Kalani He used to request the people to boycott all foreign goods. Soon he joined the active revolutionary activities and started participating in the activities of the national freedom struggle with the resolve to overthrow the ruling. Guerrilla against the tyrannical Firangi government. Hemu always led his comrades in the activities and burning of their vehicles. He was hanged on 21 January 1943. When he was asked his last wish before hanging, he expressed his desire to be born again in India. With the announcement of Inquilab Zindabad and Bharat Mata ki Jai, he accepted the hanging happily.While concluding the lecture, the Director of National Council for Development of Sindhi Language offered floral tributes to the son of Sindh Amar Shaheed Hemu Kalani on the 79th Martyrdom Day and the program was concluded with the National Anthem.On this occasion, the Director of the Council, Prof. Aqeel Ahmed ji, Guests Mr. Hero Thakur, Mr. Mahesh Chhabria ji, Mrs. Neetu Matai and Mrs. Anita Shivnani and all the officers and employees of the council were present. public relations cell
