POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav visited Mankote tehsil of district Poonch and provided ex gratia relief of Rs 1 Lakh to the next of the Kin of cross border shelling victim during the ceasefire violation by Pakistan.
The DDC was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Angral; SDM Mendhar, Dr. Sahil Jandyal; SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padyar and other officers.
The Deputy Commissioner gave away the cheque of Rs 1 Lakh and an amount of Rs 10,000 out of Red Cross Fund to the next of the kin of Mohd Sadiq son of Froza who lost his life during cross border shelling.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed sympathy with the family members on the loss and assured that district administration Poonch will make all efforts for providing all possible help to mitigate their sufferings.
