RAMBAN: District administration Ramban conducted COVID-19 sampling of nearly 200 employees of different departments, functioning in District Administrative Complex, Maitra.
District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan said that the tests were carried out due to the apprehension of some contacts of the COVID-19 positive cases detected among a few employees recently.
He said that aggressive sampling of government employees as well as common public help to isolate the infected person from other people.
The DDC appealed to the public to volunteer themselves for Covid-19 sampling in their nearest hospitals to prevent the spread among their kith and kin or anybody else who comes in contact.
He said that the Government has already issued the guidelines for home quarantine to asymptomatic and mild symptomatic positive patients. The District Administration has made adequate health care arrangements for patients found positive in the district, the DDC added.
