Jammu: Pawan Kumar Gupta, ex-MLA Udhampur called on the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday, an official spokesman said.
Gupta apprised the Lt Governor about various developmental issues of Udhampur and submitted a memorandum regarding some important public matters.
The Lt Governor assured Gupta to review the genuine issues and demands put forth by him for their early redressal and urged him to continue working towards promoting public welfare.
A delegation of National Health Mission (NHM) Employees headed by Rohit Seth, President, NHM Employees Association, also met Lt Governor. Seth briefed the Lt Governor about the major issues relating to regularization and remuneration of NHM employees.
Another delegation of chamber of hot mix plant operators, Jammu (J&K) led by its Chairman C P Gupta also called on the Lt Governor and apprised him about issues related to long pending demand of outstanding payments of the works executed, especially the macdamization of rural roads since 2017. The Lt Governor assured them that the genuine issues and demands projected by them would be looked into meticulously. Meanwhile, Chairman, National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC), PK Gupta, also called on the Lieutenant Governor and him about the present status of various ongoing projects in J&K.
