The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued a comprehensive forecast regarding weather conditions in the next few days across India.
As per IMD, heatwave conditions are likely to prevail over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next two days. Similarly, several northeastern states are likely to experience heavy rainfall spells during the next five days.
Northeast India:Â Light/moderate widespread rainfall very likely over Northeast India during next 5 days. Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh on May 16, 19 and May 20; over Assam & Meghalaya and Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during May 16 to May 20.
Isolated very heavy falls also likely over Assam & Meghalaya on May 16 ,18 and May 19, 2023.
