Indian Army initiates laying of water pipe line in remote area of Doda

DODA: Indian Army inaugurated the project for laying of water pipe line from Mori Nala to Masjid Mohalla, Khankot, a distance of 4 Km.

Masjid Mohalla is a remote locality in Khankot area of Doda district and there are about 280 locals residing in the village. Remoteness of the area and terrorism has adversely affected the overall development of the region.

The locals of Masjid Mohalla were facing difficulties in getting clean drinking water due to intermittent water supply.

The locals expressed the requirement to Indian Army officials who responded promptly by initiating the project. This project will help villagers by improving water supply to the locality.
