To prevent the corona virus, the city is being sanitized by mixing medicines in 50 thousand liters of water daily. The municipal corporation has so far spent about Rs 25 lakh in a month in the city. Machinery and spray pumps and other machinery have been procured in this amount. Apart from this, chemical is also being purchased for spray. In total, the municipal corporation has spent lakhs of rupees during the lockdown to save the city.

The drug is being sprayed on the main roads, squares and intersections of the city every day. Spay is also taking place in the roads through large tankers. Fogging campaigns are also continuing in the city to save people from the Corona epidemic. According to the municipal corporation, the order for the necessary machinery has been ordered so far, which are yet to come from the neighboring states. After this the spray and fogging operation will be intensified.

The Municipal Corporation has also constructed 11 sanitizing tunnels at a cost of six lakh rupees. It is also being protected against the corona virus. Tunnel and spray facilities have also been provided in hospitals and quarantine centers.
