REASI: Closing ceremony of Road safety Month and Vehicle Fitness Mela was today organised here by the Motor Vehicle Department.
Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib was the chief guest and SSP, Rashmi Wazir presided over the event.
A painting competition on the theme ‘Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha’ was also organised as part of the closing ceremony of the month-long promotional road safety campaign.
Aagya Bhagat of Gurukul Public Higher Secondary School bagged the first position in the competition, while Vivek Chadha of Presentation Convent School and Khushi Sharma of Gurukul Public Higher Secondary School were first and second runner up.
