JAMMU: Superintending Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, O&M Circle, Kathua, has informed that for connecting power cable of additional 10 MVA power transformer at 66/11 KV Receiving Station, Nanan, Kathua, the power supply to Budhi, Ghatti, Nanan, Sounthal, Palad, Forelain, Jakhole, Bakhta, Torsi and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 11 from 9 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, to execute work of shifting of utility on the location Canal Head (KM0.800) upto Ganesh Vihar (Km 6.000), the shutdown of 11 KV feeders is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Toph, Talab Tillo, Kabir Colony, Best Price, Lower Shiv Nagar, Eden Garden and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 11 from 7 am to 11 am.
