JAMMU: Tawi Adventure has successfully conducted the trials for paragliding from the hills of Pingla Mata, Udhampur under the supervision of Adventure Tour Operator (ATO), Arshdeep Singh.
The proposal was moved by Tawi Adventure for conducting paragliding trials from the two locations of Udhampur district including Pingla Mata hill and Ladha Dhar with the consultation of District Administration Udhampur, but due to hostile weather condition, the team conducted the trials at one location i,e Pingla Mata hill.
As per the experts, the site has tremendous potential for offering thrilling and exciting paragliding flights to the adventure seekers.
However, the trials were conducted from a much lower point on the mountain, the actual operations would see the tourists leap off the mountain from the ridge line, but below the tree top level, they said.
Sarpanch Chiani, Karnail Singh and Sarpanch Thalora, Balwant Raj were also present at the site.
